Welcome, I’m Guillem Contestí, a twenty-eight-year-old Mallorcan with a passion for graphic design. Let me explain how I ended up here.

We could say that it all started when I was 18 years old, I had the habit of giving
illustrations to my friends for their birthdays. Little by little, I became interested in the graphic world that surrounds us, I couldn’t stop looking at advertising valleys and their compositions, the packaging of a product and its details… I was clear about what I wanted to learn and I immersed myself in graphic design studies.

After a few years in Barcelona, studying at LCI and doing an internship at Lázaro Rosa-Violán Studio, I confirmed that I was doing what I liked. Gradually I was getting some clients and one-off commissions, until these began to involve a large enough volume of work for me to venture into becoming a freelancer. A decision that scared me because of the uncertainty that comes with depending on the workflow. The first few months everything was going quite well, I worked with great enthusiasm on a variety of exciting projects. That’s when they knocked on my door. I worked for three months at Petit Studio (Petra), where I gained knowledge of production and printing, without leaving aside my work as a freelancer. Shortly after, I started working at 24PM Marketing (Manacor), where I currently dedicate part of my time in combination with the freelance projects I have. During the last few years I have been expanding my fields of work to gain new skills, such as motion graphics or web design with Figma.

It has been almost six years since this odyssey began, I have worked with more than 250 different projects, with large and small clients, challenging and complex projects, learning new skills and training. And today I can say that I am a professional graphic designer who makes my passion my job and who puts all my effort into each assignment.
